I can't believe it's September already! I hope everyone had a wonderful summer.

This is just a quick note to remind everyone that our first gathering of the season will be September 21st with doors opening at 6:00 p.m. and meeting starting at 7:00 p.m. Also, don't forget our new meeting location is at H.B. Stowe Elementary School on Post Office Road.

To start our evening we will hand out membership folders, have a brief business meeting and of course Show and Tell (I can't wait to see what everyone has been working on over the summer!).

After, we will have time to sign up for Raffle, Refreshments, Secret Pal, Fabric Swap, Block of the Month, Shoe Boxes, etc. I am also pleased to announce the return of Mystery Quilts and a Quilt Challenge.

We have a lot of exciting programs and surprises planned for this year thanks to the dedication and hard work of the Executive Committee Members! Thank You. . .Thank You. . .Thank You!

I can't wait to see everyone on September 21st!

Last year our guild made over 50 quilts for Safe Homes of Enfield. Again, many thanks to all who participated! As a follow up, Community Health Resources, the parent company of Safe Homes of Enfield, requested a photo and small write-up of our project for their annual report. Tami Bungard and Cyndy Ostrout represented our guild in the photo, holding two of the quilts.

The Quilted Raven at 310 Hazard Avenue.
It's at or near the corner of Rte. 190 and Powder Hill Rd.
( near the Methodist Church )

Hours are 10 to 5 Tuesday through Friday, Saturdays 10 to 4.
You can order on-line too.
